Pain territory: Licensed professionals — specifically independent insurance agents and brokers who are drowning in carrier appointment management. Each carrier has different appointment requirements, renewal dates, CE credit thresholds by state, and license expiration windows. Agents juggle 15–40 carrier appointments across 10–30 states. Nothing talks to each other. NIPR (National Insurance Producer Registry) has data but no workflow layer on top. The failure mode is an appointment lapsing mid-quote, meaning a sale falls through at the worst possible moment. Agents are tracking this in Excel or paying a compliance VA. This is recurring, painful, and the NIPR API is underutilized by small tooling vendors.
